Dr
Grime has special interests in replacing missing teeth using dental implants,
cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and sedation for the treatment of anxious patients.
He regularly attends postgraduate courses and national and international conferences.
In 1995 after two years study he was awarded a Diploma in Conscious Sedation from
the University on Newcastle upon Tyne and in 1996 attained the Diploma in General
Dental Practice (DGDP UK) from the Royal College of Surgeons. He
joined Kyleville Dental Practice in July 1990. In addition to providing dental
care for his regular patients he takes referrals from other dentists in the North
East to provide treatment with dental implants and oral surgery. He also has an
Oral Surgery Practice in Durham and has an Associate Specialist post in the Oral
Surgery Department at the Newcastle Dental School. Dr Grime is recognised as a
specialist in Surgical Dentistry by the General Dental Council and is a representative
for surgical dentistry at The Royal College of Surgeons in London. When
he is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife Bridget and daughter Alex.
He is an enthusiastic, if not very accomplished skier and likes to relax walking
in the Lake District.
